Abortion

Abortion

When were we ever given the right to destroy any living thing? Abortion is the legalized killing of the most innocent living things in our world. Abortion is nothing simple. Instead it is a real life event, which is often very stressful and extremely traumatic. Abortion is the murder of an innocent child who did not have control of any of the circumstances which it is placed in.

Some states a women freedom to have an abortion has been limited. Because of this, many women have had abortions by people not medically licensed to perform them. Many of these unlicensed people have used instruments causing illness or death. Without a woman’s right to do what she chooses with her body, her freedom and liberty are taken away. If for personal reasons, a woman wants an abortion as is, currently her constitutional rights, she has the freedom to do so.

Abortion has always been an extremely controversial subject; Quite related to choice and freedom of making your own decisions is the thing on which many have already contemplated, studied and made publications that lead to many different reactions.

Some say it is the woman's right to choose whether to abort or not; it is the woman's freedom to treat her body the way she wants to.

Others strongly defend the theory of making greatest sin by killing already a living creature in you. Many organizations have already lead real grandiose strikes and protests against abortion. And still people are confused and different opinions hover above the nature of this very subject.

The term ‘abortion’ is often generalized as a intentional termination of a pregnancy yet there are in fact three classifications of abortion:

Spontaneous abortion- is better known as a miscarriage, which can be defined as an unintentional termination of a pregnancy.

Therapeutic abortion- is an induced abortion that has been performed to eliminate potential damaging risk to the health or life of the pregnant women.

Induced abortion- is the term for a deliberate termination of an unborn baby based on the pregnant woman’s or health advisors reasoning.

The ethical dilemma of abortion is typically viewed in apposing ways this is apparent due to the widely expressed opinions of individuals.

Anti-abortion activists would argue it is not the choice of the pregnant woman since the unborn child should also have the same rights as any other person has like having the right to live, and this is were the conflict of opinions lie. ‘At what stage in the pregnancy is the baby considered to be human? ’. Anti-abortionists may say from conception a pro-choicer may say when the baby is fully developed or maybe not even till it is born. I think it is merely perception.

Abortions are dangerous many things are known to go wrong during the procedure. Many women get the procedure done to them just because they feel they aren’t ready or it was a big mistake. There is no mistake. Most women know the possibilities of getting pregnant when they have sex. Not the mentally challenged women, but the women that are healthy and in their right state of mind. It is common sense but if some women are unsure they could easily go to a place such as Planet Parenthood and get answers. It is unfair to take away such a gift, especially when it was never even given a chance to live, to breathe or to feel, just because two people made a “mistake”. Abortion is termination of pregnancy. It’s hard to comprehend how someone could perform or go through the procedure. The thought of going through something like that or witnessing it is sickening.

Did you ever ask yourself if abortion is right or wrong? I hope that after reading this essay you will understand that abortions are totally wrong. We think that it is wrong to kill people in Iraq for oil. Then why do we think there is nothing wrong to use killing, as a form of birth control. I think abortions are a horrible methods, that people agree to live with because most of them don't know the truth about it. Abortions are to be made illegal for many reasons.

In my opinion why I think abortion should be made illegal, because unborn babies are human beings at any stage of pregnancy. Abortion is performed because many people do not see the embryo as a person or human being. According to Shettles, "Scientist identify that the first moment of human life start that instant when a sperm cell unites with an ovum or egg cell." Abortion is an act of murder, when you take a human life, which is wrong under any circumstances. An unborn baby is meaningful life that should not be considered expendable.
